Neglected Disease Research and Development: Reaching New Heights

The G-FINDER report is an annual report that provides updates on research and development (R&D) funding trends for neglected diseases across all relevant product types, including vaccines. The 2018 report found that funding for neglected diseases reached its highest level ever, exceeding US$3.5 billion, with the public sector being the most significant source. Despite this record high in funding, overall levels of R&D funding fall short of global targets. The report also analyzes funding by source, R&D stage, and format.
